Urgent Care Now’s Commitment to the CDC Antibiotic Stewardship Program

As part of our continuing commitment to the health and safety of our patients and our community, we are dedicated to improving antibiotic use through antibiotic stewardship implementation. Antibiotic stewardship refers to a set of commitments and activities designed to “optimize the treatment of infections while reducing the adverse events associated with antibiotic use.”

Your health is important to us. We promise to provide the best possible treatment for your condition. If an antibiotic is not needed, we will explain this to you and will offer a treatment plan that will help. We are dedicated to prescribing antibiotics only when they are needed, and we will avoid giving you antibiotics when they might do more harm than good.

Our goal is to improve patient outcomes, as well as reduce antibiotic resistance and decrease the spread of infections. Antimicrobial Resistance is an emerging global problem, and we are all part of the solution.
